House of Blues Entertainment presents the Ones To Watch Tour with Redlight King & Icon for Hire!

The Ones to Watch program is focused on discovery and turning fans onto up and coming talent.

This tour will hit 18 markets in August from Anaheim's House of Blues to New York City's Gramercy Theater. Check out all the dates by clicking the image below.

The Almost--Aaron Gillespie (lead vocalist/lyrics/guitar), Jay Vilardi (guitars), Dusty Redmon (guitars), Jon Thompson (bass) and Joe Musten (drums)--will release their third album Fear Inside Our Bones Tuesday, June 11 via Tooth & Nail/RED Distribution, RED will handle distribution and radio promotion for Fear Inside Our Bones. The propulsive first single “I’m Down” will hit Alternative and Rock radio starting June 5.

As The Almost prepare to release their third album Fear Inside Our Bones on June 11, the group has announced they’ll kick-off a U.S. headlining tour on June 6. The month-long trek, which includes stops in Denver, Seattle, Los Angeles and more, The Almost has partnered with GIGG.com to launch “The Almost Tournament” which allows local musicians the chance to open up for the band every night on the tour. The acclaimed rock group The Almost has announced their third album Fear Inside Our Bones will now be released Tuesday, June 11th via Tooth & Nail. Tooth and Nail has entered into a new distribution deal with RED Distribution, Sony Music Entertainment’s award-winning independent distribution company. Under the agreement, RED will now handle distribution for all future Tooth & Nail and Solid State releases.

To record Fear Inside Our Bones, The Almost retreated to Nashville’s Omni Studios with producer Marshall Altman (Tom Morello, Ingrid Michaelson, William Fitzsimmons). All the songs were recorded together in a single room, completely live. “It wasn’t a piecemeal process as the majority of modern records are,” explains Gillespie. “The album was born at that moment from our collective blood, sweat and tears.” In those five days, the musicians tapped into elegantly visceral energy built from a blues-rock vibe that they modernized. Other album highlights include the relentless rocker “Fight Song,” the powerful and complicated anthem “I Won’t Let Go,” and “I’m Down” which streams ahead like a Southern freight train before the singer soulfully proclaims in the chorus, “Don’t count me out.”

Tooth & Nail Records Signs With RED Distribution

Famed Seattle-based labels Tooth & Nail Records and Solid State Records announced today that they have entered into a new distribution deal with RED Distribution, Sony Music Entertainment’s award-winning independent distribution company. Under the agreement, RED will handle distribution for all future Tooth & Nail and Solid State releases. The first new release through RED will be the third studio album from The Almost, Fear Inside Our Bones, out June 11 on Tooth & Nail Records. “We are very excited to be working with Brandon, the entire Tooth & Nail/Solid State team and their great roster of acts on the next chapter of the labels’ successful 20 year run,” says RED President Bob Morelli, “The addition of the Tooth & Nail/Solid State family further strengthens RED’s already storied hard rock music business, and provides us with an even stronger foothold for achievement moving forward.”

Tooth & Nail Records / Solid State Records, which are celebrating their 20th Anniversary this year, recently re-launched as a completely independent label group. This new partnership follows the recent departure of Tooth & Nail Records and Solid State Records from EMI/Universal. “We are thrilled to sign with RED and its remarkable team, including President Bob Morelli and Senior Vice President Alan Becker, both of whom I’ve known and admired for more than 20 years,” shares Brandon Ebel, President of Tooth & Nail Records and Solid State Records, “This is an exciting new phase for our label and artists.”

RED’s radio promotion team and ‘stache media marketing division will also be engaged with the labels. The first radio priority will be the new single from Love & Death, the band formed by Korn guitarist Brian “Head” Welch, which is being released in conjunction with the summer reissue of Between Here & Lost (with new bonus material).

The labels are looking at a very bright future in 2013. Additional new releases slated for 2013 following The Almost include August Burns Red (just announced as the Vans Warped Tour 2013 headlining slot), The Letter Black, Icon For Hire (presently in the studio working on the sophomore follow-up to Scripted, the biggest first week debut sales in the label fold’s history) and Solid State’s Emery.
