House of Blues Entertainment presents the Ones To Watch Tour with Redlight King & Icon for Hire!

The Ones to Watch program is focused on discovery and turning fans onto up and coming talent.

This tour will hit 18 markets in August from Anaheim's House of Blues to New York City's Gramercy Theater. Check out all the dates by clicking the image below.

Icon For Hire Releases "Off With Her Head" Music Video

Icon For Hire have released the music video for "Off With Her Head," which comes from the band's 2011 Tooth & Nail Records debut Scripted. The group spent two days in Compton, CA (South Los Angeles) working with some of the hottest underground artists to create an otherworldly interpretation of the song. Frontwoman and fashion designer Ariel said recently, "We are pushing the boundaries, creatively and visually, to create a fashion-forward work that we can't wait to share with our fans."

The first two Icon For Hire videos, "Make A Move" and "Get Well", have a combined 3.68 million views and counting! If you haven't seen any of these videos, you must watch them NOW!

Family Force 5 & Icon For Hire On Tour This Fall!

Family Force 5 and Icon For Hire have just announced that they will be on the Music With A Mission Tour! This tour spans from the end of September through the beginning of november for a total of a couple dozen dates, and hits most of the major cities across the U.S.! From Music With A Mission's Mission Page, "Music With A Mission and CURE are partnering up to save the lives of children in Uganda who are suffering from Hydrocephalus, a deadly brain condition that affects nearly 400,000 newborns each year globally. Over 310,000 of these children will be born in the developing world with limited or no access to the critical lifesaving care the condition requires. CURE’s hospital in Uganda will save the lives of nearly 1,000 of these children this year alone. On every night of the Music With A Mission Tour, we will showcase real video footage from our hospital of a child afflicted with hydrocephalus and their family. The footage will embrace where the family comes from, what they thought would happen to their child because of the condition, and how the care and compassion they’ve experienced at CURE has impacted their lives."

We'd like to officially welcome Icon For Hire to the Tooth & Nail Family! Check out a video message from the band now on YouTube.

Female fronted and hailing from Decatur, IL, Icon For Hire is comprised of Ariel (vocals), Shawn Jump (guitar) and Adam Kronshagen (drums). Since 2007, the band has been establishing their strong following by touring extensively across the Mid-West.

"We are thrilled to be joining such an established and well-respected group at Tooth & Nail,” shares the band upon their signing. “It's a label that has a history of consistently putting out good music and really working side by side with their artists. Because we've been doing this thing on our own for over two years, it feels great to partner with Tooth & Nail. We can't wait to record our debut full-length and see where this road takes us."

Icon For Hire will be hitting the studios with famed producer Aaron Sprinkle (Anberlin, The Almost, Acceptance) this fall. Writing for the last several months, the band is anxious to get into the studio to formulate their sound of combining heavy, rock-oriented sounds and modern pop elements with a strong focus on the production.

"We feel like it's a common misconception among new bands that once a band gets signed, the hard work is over. We're approaching this completely different, we realize that now's when the real work begins and we're up for the challenge. We're three very driven people, and we're not gonna stop until we fulfill our goals."
